On Sunday afternoon, Richards Bay will have the chance to consolidate their second spot on the DStv Premiership table when they host AmaZulu at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium.
The Natal Rich Boyz have been hard to beat this season, having only lost once in their last 12 matches – a 1-0 defeat to reigning champions and log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns. They currently sit second on the table, 22 points behind the Brazilians, with three games in hand.
Their opponents, AmaZulu, are eighth on the table and will be looking to remain in the top eight. They come into this game off the back of a 1-1 draw with Marumo Gallants last weekend, after thrashing Kaizer Chiefs 4-0 the week before.
Richards Bay will be hoping to complete a league double over their provincial rivals, having edged them 1-0 in the reverse fixture. Both teams will be aiming to get the all-important three points to ensure they remain in the top half of the table.
