On Thursday, Orlando Pirates could be set to unveil their new signing against red-hot Mamelodi Sundowns in their eagerly awaited DStv Premiership clash.
The Buccaneers have seen some improvement in their performances and results in recent matches, having won their last three fixtures consecutively, against Golden Arrows, Stellenbosch FC and Marumo Gallants respectively.
Having recently added Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou to the squad, indications are that the technical team has been impressed with the player’s work-rate. A source close to the team said, “He (Marou) is a good player and his work rate is wonderful. He is adjusting well and should be ready in no time for his first match.”
Pirates lost 2-0 to Sundowns in the previous match between the two teams which was played on the last day of 2022 and the club’s head coach Jose Riveiro and the team will be looking for improvement when the two sides play again on Saturday.
Keep beating those relegation teams, Mamelodi Sundowns.
Those teams are the reason Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are 20+ points and closer to relegation zone, than championship spot.
In the end every points matter, every win matters
