The 25-year-old forward will be looking to revive his career at SuperSport United and make an impact in the second half of the season.
On Thursday, Orlando Pirates officially confirmed that striker Zakhele Lepasa has completed a loan move for the remainder of the 2022/23 season. The 25-year-old forward will be joining Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United.
This move follows the Buccaneers’ recent acquisition of Cameroonian forward Souaibou Marou, which left Lepasa as the sacrificial lamb. The lanky forward had missed the team’s last four matches, three of which resulted in wins.
Hunt is likely to find Lepasa as a welcome addition to his arsenal, as he had hinted at a need for a youthful forward to compliment the experience of Thamsanqa Gabuza and Bradley Grobler in attack for Matsatsantsa. Despite his appearances in all competitions this season, Lepasa has managed just one goal in that time.
