On Thursday, Swallows FC have announced the addition of David Uromi to their squad in a bid to fight against relegation in the 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign.
The 23-year-old Tanzanian attacker previously played for Sudanese club Al Hilal, and joins the Dube Birds on loan from Orlando Pirates until the end of the season. Uromi is the second addition to coach Ernst Middendorp’s squad, following the capture of defender Bongani Sam on the January transfer deadline day.
Swallows are currently 15th on the standings with only four wins from 18 matches and are scheduled to face Richards Bay FC in their next fixture this Friday, 2 February.
