The 21-year old feels there’s certain aspects of his game that still needs improvement and also expressed his dream of winning the CAF Champions League. “I have to improve on certain aspects of my game but so far so good because I’m scoring goals and I’m placed in the right positions.
For me, I think I have to improve on helping the team to keep the ball and I think my game will go to another level,” he said.
“I want to play in the CAF Champions League, I want to win it so for me I think it gives me confidence that it’s actually possible, especially playing under such a high intensity game,” he added.
Mailula believes that the win over Pirates was hard fought because they had to play for long periods without the ball. He praised the team for their focus and the right mentality, and urged himself to stay humble and listen to the coaches.
