Mamelodi Sundowns player Luvuyo Phewa has secured a loan move to the Motsepe Foundation Championship with Cape Town Spurs. The 23-year-old has joined the Mother City outfit on a deal to run until the end of the season.
Phewa returned to Sundowns from the University of Pretoria, where he was on loan last season. He had been disrupted by injury earlier in the season, and will look to use the remaining matches of the campaign to return to form and help the Western Cape outfit gain promotion to the DStv Premiership.
The midfielder has been on Downs’ books since 2020.
