Tonight, Marumo Gallants will face Magesi FC in the opening round of the 2023 Nedbank Cup.
The Limpopo side come into the match with a newfound confidence after a win in their last outing. Interim coach Raymond Mdaka will be in charge of the game at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, kick-off 19h30.

Marumo Gallants will be looking to replicate their impressive run in the tournament last season, when they reached the final, only to be defeated by Mamelodi Sundowns.
On the other hand, Magesi FC will be making their first appearance in the Nedbank Cup since 2016, when they lost 4-0 to Jomo Cosmos in the preliminary round. Both teams have named their lineups for the match.
Marumo Gallants have gone with Watenga, Gumede, Thangwane, Kgoetyane, Pheko, Mphambaniso, Mohomi, Otladisa, Soumaro, Letsie and Moseamedi. Magesi FC, on the other hand, have chosen Chipezeze, Raseona, Mokone, Komape, Mokone, Matima, Baloyi, Selemela, Wana, Mokondelela and Kambala.
It promises to be an exciting match between two sides that have had a mixed start to the season. Who will come out on top? Only time will tell.
