Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali is reportedly open to a move to Cape Town City, but a potential transfer may be hindered by his current package at Chloorkop.
The 33-year-old has been one of Sundowns’ best players in recent seasons, but has seen his first-team opportunities limited this campaign, with Teboho Mokoena preferred in the holding midfielder role.
According to the Siya crew, City are interested in bringing Jali to the Mother City, but the club’s efficient model, which has seen them rope in top players without breaking the bank, may be a stumbling block.
Jali is believed to be on the higher end of earners at Sundowns, and a move to City would be unlikely unless the midfielder agrees to a pay cut.
It remains to be seen if Jali will make the move at the end of the season, but for now, the future of the experienced midfielder remains uncertain.
