Cape Town City will be looking to bounce back from their recent losses when they host Royal AM in the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The Citizens, who are currently 11th on the table and just two points above the relegation zone, are motivated to get into the next round after losing to the same opposition at this stage of the tournament last season.
Royal AM, on the other hand, will be looking to build on their confidence after ending a three-game winless run with a win over Golden Arrows the last time out. The win lifted Thwihli Thwahla up to ninth on the table. The two sides met for their first round league meeting a couple of months ago, with City edging out the victory 2-1 in the Mother City.
Cape Town City will be looking to their experienced players such as Thamsanqa Mkhize, Thabo Nodada, Kermit Erasmus and Ayanda Patosi to lead the charge. Meanwhile, Royal AM will be relying on the likes of Siphelele Magubane, Bongi Ntuli and Thabo Mnyamane to get the job done. The match will be played at the DHL Stadium at 18h00.
