Orlando Pirates are in high spirits as they look to potentially secure a second trophy this season, following a strong start in the Nedbank Cup. The Buccaneers defeated Motsepe Foundation Championship side, All Stars, in the Last 32 round of the competition, setting up a Last 16 match against Venda Football Academy.
The South African Premier League (PSL) giants are looking to make the most of their home advantage in the Last 16 round, with the championship out of reach as defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns are in pole position to retain their title.

A source close to the team said: “The team is aiming high and will be taking no opponents lightly as the club is aiming to do well this season.”
