SuperSport United were unable to make the most of Bradley Grobler’s 99th top-flight goal as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Royal AM at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark when Grobler headed home a cross from Patrick Maswanganyi. Royal AM responded before the break when they found the back of the net with a close-range shot.
Matsatsantsa had the better of the second half and had several opportunities to restore their lead, but Hugo Nyame was on hand to make the saves.
Onismor Bhasera had a long-range strike in the dying minutes, but Nyame was again equal to the task as the sides settled for a share of the spoils.
