SuperSport United are reportedly monitoring the situation of Maruma Gallants attacker, Lesiba Nku, according to sources close to the Siya crew. The Tshwane giants are believed to be keen on the winger ahead of the July/August transfer window.
Gallants are currently at the foot of the Premiership log and are focused on avoiding relegation before any decisions on player movements are made. However, it is understood that SuperSport United have already spoken to the club and the player’s representative about a potential move.
A source close to the Siya crew revealed, “SuperSport want to bring in Nku because they believe he can take over from Siyabonga Nhlapho who could retire soon or feed his experience to a much younger player like Lesiba and that’s why they want to sign him this coming season.”
Nku has one year remaining on his contract at Gallants after signing a two-year deal when he joined the club from Polokwane City in July 2022.
SuperSport United are reportedly keen to add Nku to their squad ahead of the new season and will be hoping to finalise a deal in the coming months.
