Agent Mike Makaab has spoken about the importance of Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah getting back into the starting line-up in order to secure a dream move overseas.
The 25-year-old Nigerian has been linked to Italian Serie A side Sassuolo and Swedish clubs in the past, but an injury has held him back from making a move. Ndah has not featured for Pirates since October last year, and has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Soweto giants.
Makaab has urged Ndah to focus on getting back into the starting line-up and performing at the same high level he did when he first joined Pirates. The Buccaneers are open to selling Ndah and cashing in.
“There was interest just before the injury. He has just recovered from an injury. He is back in full training. There has been overseas interest, but the main thing for now is to focus his energy on getting back and winning his way back into the starting 11, because the team is doing well, and then performing at the same high consistent level that he did when he first came to Orlando Pirates. We will have to let that unfold the way it unfolds,” Makaab said.
With the current campaign coming to an end, Ndah will be determined to finish the season on a high and make a move abroad.
