AmaZulu in Quest for Makhaula’s Replacement: Search in Progress

Orlando Pirates are set to face a tough test this week as they will be without two of their key players due to suspension. Captain Innocent Maela and Nkosinathi Sibisi have both been influential for Bucs this season and their absence will be felt by the team.

AmaZulu have reportedly identified Motsepe Foundation Championship side NB La Masia FC’s Ronald Wee as a potential replacement for Makhehleni Makhaula. Makhaula left the Durban-based side in January to join Orlando Pirates and was given a run in the dying minutes of the 1-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs at the weekend.

According to a source, Usuthu are widening their search for a central midfielder and have added Wee to their radar. Gerald Baloyi, the player’s representative, has confirmed the interest from AmaZulu in the central midfielder.

“I can confirm that there’s been interest from AmaZulu in La Masia FC midfielder Ronald Wee,” said Baloyi.
