Chippa United coach Morgan Mammila urged the South African Football Association (SAFA) to enlist the services of former Mamelodi Sundowns coaches Pitso Mosimane and Rulani Mokwena in order to revive the glory days of the national team, Bafana Bafana.
Mammila made the suggestion after his side’s loss to Sundowns at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium, where he praised the club’s system which he believes has been perfected under the leadership of Mosimane and Mokwena.

“Sundowns is the most viewed football team in this country. Why? Because of the football that they play, so if we take the kind of the system that Sundowns play and take it to Bafana Bafana, are we not bringing back the Bafana Bafana that we all love,” he said.
The duo have had great success at Sundowns, winning nine trophies, including the CAF Champions League title in 2016. If SAFA were to hire them, it could be the start of a new era for Bafana Bafana.
