Ntseki Shares Insights on Relationship with Motaung

On Saturday, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki revealed the kind of
relationship he has with Chairman Dr. Kaizer Motaung.

Ntseki was appointed by Amakhosi at the beginning of the season,
succeeding Arthur Zwane as head coach.

Since then, Ntseki has been under pressure to bring the club back to its
former glory days.

Speaking at a Carling Knockout press conference, Ntseki said that he is
surrounded by the wisdom of Dr. Motaung, who at 79 years of age, still has
interest in the technical matters around the team and forms part of his
decision-making process.

“I always say it’s a privilege to be part of this brand, you have a
chairman who played football, you have a chairman who has been in the game
for more than 53 years, so I think his wisdom will always come out very
important,” Ntseki said.

He added that before every game, he has a pre-match meeting with Dr.
Motaung to discuss the team, injuries, and the plan to be deployed in the
game.

“And I think with his background, with his experience, it has been very
good technical conversations and I think technical conversations are very
important,” Ntseki said.

Ntseki went on to say that it is important to take advice from those who
have been in the game for a long time.

“I think the rest of the club members who have been in the game for long,
they always have a role to play, they always have something to say that
you can always look into, because it’s a big team and football is a
massive sport. You cannot always do everything on your own, without
listening and at times getting the advice from the people that are
around,” he added.

Kaizer Chiefs will be back in action when they host AmaZulu at FNB
Stadium in a Carling Knockout round of 16 clash on Saturday evening.
