Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be on the verge of making a major decision
regarding the future of head coach Molefi Ntseki following a string of
poor results since his appointment in June. According to reliable sources,
Ntseki and his assistant coach Arthur Zwane were called into a meeting by
the Chiefs hierarchy on Monday and were informed of their fate.
Ntseki has overseen 13 matches since his appointment, managing only four
wins in all competitions, three draws and six defeats, two of which have
come in cup competitions. Saturday’s loss to AmaZulu, which saw Chiefs
being dumped out of the Carling Knockout, appears to have been the final
straw.
The club has yet to release an official statement, but sources have
indicated that a decision on the duo is imminent. When asked about his
future after the loss to Usuthu, Ntseki refused to comment, saying that it
was not the correct platform to address the matter.
PSLSA reported earlier today that Chiefs could be looking to reshuffle
their technical team. The Siya crew will keep you updated on this matter!
