Chiefs Eyeing a New Assistant Coach?

Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced that they have parted ways with
head coach Molefi Ntseki and have redeployed assistant coach Arthur Zwane
back into their development structures, while Cavin Johnson is the interim
head coach. According to Siya sources, Chiefs’ current DStv Diski
Challenge team coach Vela Khumalo and Zwane could swap roles.

The source indicated that Khumalo could be the second assistant coach in
the first team alongside Dillon Sheppard while Zwane will return to his
old position in the DDC team. It is reported that Khumalo will work with
the first team at training but during the games he would be either with
the DDC team or not on the first team bench.

Another source added that Khumalo was tipped for the role by Johnson
himself. It is understood that the club is currently working on the
logistics of the swap and how it will work during the games over the
weekend.

PSLSA contacted Chiefs for comment but no response was received while
preparing this story.
