After being linked with Kaizer Chiefs, Bafana Bafana international Kamohelo Mokotjo has sealed a move to the DStv Premiership, signing a six-month deal with Sekhukhune United with an option to extend for another year.
SABC Sport reported this morning that it had been confirmed by the player’s agent, Basia Michaels of QT Sports, that the 31-year-old would be returning home, although the intermediary wouldn’t name the DStv Premiership outfit he signed for.
Now, sources have confirmed to the Siya crew that the 31-year-old has signed a six-month deal with a possibility to extend for another year. “Kamohelo Mokotjo has signed for Sekhukhune United. It’s a short-term deal with an option to make it a little longer,” said the source. “He signed a six-month deal with an option for one more year. Everyone at the club is happy about the latest developments,” the source added.
Mokotjo has spent more than a decade playing abroad, representing some of the top teams including FC Twente in Netherlands and Brentford in England.
The problem at Bafana is that someone is forcing the coaches to select kaizer chiefs and Pirates players all the times. One good game from Saleng and Sekgotha took them straight to Bafana while someone like Mailula still have to play 100 good games for him to make it to Bafana. https://t.co/cuLkXbhLs4
