Pirates Open to Considering Offers for Striker?

Saturday, saw potential suitors waiting in anticipation of a decision
from Orlando Pirates regarding the future of one of their players.
Bienvenu Eva Nga’s future has been in doubt since the second half of the
season, when the club added more strikers to the squad.

In January, the Buccaneers lured Souaibou Marou from Cameroon, while
veteran striker Ndumiso Mabena re-joined the Soweto giants. Sources have
indicated to the Siya crew that Eva Nga’s future is in discussions at
Bucs, while the player’s former employers at Chippa United are monitoring
the situation closely.

“Pirates is open to agreeing a deal with Chippa United for Eva Nga. Chippa
is interested in the player. He was the team’s leading goalscorer before
his move to Pirates. Informal talks have been started,” said the source.

The 30-year-old burly Cameroonian has been a notable absentee from Jose
Riveiro’s line-ups for the better part of this year, with his only
appearance coming on as a substitute for the last few minutes against
Marumo Gallants in January.
