Goals from Peter Shalulile (2) and Mosa Lebusa saw the DStv Premiership
side through to the next round. Mbule, who joined Sundowns from SuperSport
United, was delighted with his performance and felt the game should have
been wrapped up sooner.
“I would first of all like to thank the Mamelodi Sundowns family and
everyone around the club for giving me the opportunity to play for
Mamelodi Sundowns. I think I’m doing well and I’m coming alright. I think
in today’s game we played well, I think if we could convert the chances
that we created, I think Peter got almost four,” he said.
The midfielder added that he was pleased to have played the full 90
minutes and is looking forward to building on his performance.
“I’m pretty much happy with my performance because it’s been long since I
played 90 minutes, so I think from here it’s just upwards, I’m building
from here,” he said.
