Orlando Pirates will be hoping to continue their impressive run of form
in the Nedbank Cup when they take on second division side All Stars in the
last 32 on Saturday evening.
The Buccaneers, who won the tournament twice under the current sponsors
and last won it in 2014, are looking to reach the last 16 for the second
consecutive season.
They come into the match off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Mamelodi
Sundowns in the league, and will be without captain Innocent Maela due to
suspension.
All Stars, meanwhile, qualified for the last 32 at the first attempt
since they relocated to Johannesburg and renamed the club which was
previously known as Cape Town All Stars at the beginning of the season.
They come into the match off the back of a goalless draw with Pretoria
Callies in the league, and will be hoping to cause an upset against the
more experienced Pirates.
The match between All Stars and Orlando Pirates kicks off at 20h00 at the
Wits Football Stadium on Saturday evening.
