Kaizer Chiefs will resume their DStv Premiership campaign on Sunday
afternoon, as they host Golden Arrows at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in
Polokwane. Chiefs are currently lying fifth on the table, five points
behind second-placed SuperSport United, while Arrows are precariously
lying 13th on the log, just a point above the drop zone.
Chiefs marched through to the round of 16 of the Nedbank Cup for the first
time in three years after beating ten-man Maritzburg United 2-0 in
extra-time last weekend. Meanwhile, Abafana Bes’thende also progressed to
the last 16 in the Nedbank Cup after beating second-tier side Pretoria
Callies 2-1 in extra-time.
