On Friday, Al Ahli Jeddah coach Pitso Mosimane responded to TS Galaxy
coach Sead Ramovic, encouraging the tactician to qualify for the top eight
and match Dan Malesela’s Nedbank Cup record with the Rockets.
The back and forth began when Ramovic suggested that Sibusiso Vilakazi’s
lack of effort was the reason behind the termination of his contract by
mutual consent. Mosimane hit back at the German coach’s claims, revealing
that the 33-year-old was an astute professional during their time at
Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ramovic then wrote to SABC Sport and urged Mosimane to sign the former
PSL Player of the Season to his current club Al Ahli, given the quality he
possesses as a player.
This led to Mosimane’s latest response, where he urged Ramovic to be a
‘responsible pro licensed coach’. “Coach Ramovic, please sit down. I was
just protecting Sbu Vilakazi’s career that is still left with few years to
go.
You have to make Top 8 and match Dan Malesela’s Nedbank Cup record. Let’s
focus & be responsible Pro Licensed Coaches,” Mosimane tweeted.
