On Friday night, Orlando Pirates showed their quality and ambition in the
CAF Champions League as they put in an impressive performance to beat
Swallows FC 4-1 in the original Soweto Derby.
Head coach Jose Riveiro was full of praise for the entire team after the
game, noting their aggression and control of the game in the first-half,
as well as the work of the central midfielders to collect second balls and
give the team continuity.

Saleng stole the show with a hat-trick, but Riveiro was complimentary of
the entire team on the night, noting the quality of the attacking players
and the difficult task of the centre-backs to defend long balls.
Riveiro noted that the situation is tight in the league, but he is not
thinking about goal difference at this stage, instead wanting to score
goals and entertain the fans.
