Royal AM Boss Faces Tax Troubles

On Wednesday, South African Revenue Services (SARS) revealed that they
are chasing Royal AM owner, Shauwn Mkhize, for a R37 million tax bill. The
High Court of South Africa has since ordered Mkhize to pay up.

The Warrant of Execution from the High Court has directed the sheriff of
the court “to attach and remove the movable property of the Royal AM”.
This includes her home and luxury vehicles.

The financial troubles for Mkhize and Royal AM don’t stop there. The club
was recently given a transfer ban for failing to pay R12 million to Samir
Nurkovic, while the Democratic Alliance has come out fighting for the R27
million which the Msunduzi Municipality has sponsored Royal AM with.

It remains to be seen how Mkhize and Royal AM will respond to the
financial pressures they are facing and if they can find a way out of the
difficult situation.
