Mamelodi Sundowns chairman Tlhopie Motsepe is demonstrating his
commitment to the club’s success by taking part in the SAFA Ekurhuleni
Region’s D License Coaching Course. This is a clear indication of the
lengths the Sundowns team are willing to go to ensure they remain a
dominant force in African football.
The course began on 11 March and will run for three weeks, accommodating
those who are employed full-time and unable to attend during the week. It
is being held at Germiston Stadium in East Rand, Johannesburg, and is
being conducted by renowned CAF instructors Jose De Oliveira and Simon
Tshowa.
Speaking on the course, SAFA Ekurhuleni president Job Mchunu said: “We
thought to accommodate those who are employed full time elsewhere, that we
run this course only on weekends.”
The move is a further indication of the strong commitment to success
demonstrated by the Sundowns team, who have been praised by experts and
former players for the hard work that takes place behind the scenes at
Chloorkop.
