Mamelodi Sundowns could be set for some exits in the final two weeks of the January transfer window, according to the Siya crew. Despite the lack of activity at Chloorkop so far, the DStv Premiership champions are open to either bringing in new stars or letting go of a few who are struggling to break into the 18-man matchday squad.
Striker Gift Motupa is one of the players Sundowns are open to letting go, possibly on loan. The return to action of Peter Shalulile has decreased Motupa’s chances of playing, making a move to get more minutes on the field a possibility. The former Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits player is valued by the technical team, but they have found it difficult to get him into the team when he is fit.
Another player who could head out this month is defender Katlego Mohamme, who is yet to make an official appearance for Sundowns this season. Mohamme was on loan to Swallows FC last season and is open to making a move to a club where he can get some valuable minutes until the end of the season.
The final two weeks of the January transfer window could see some movement at Chloorkop as Mamelodi Sundowns look to strengthen their squad or allow players to get more minutes on the field. The Siya crew will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
