Arrows vs Maritzburg: Who’s in and who’s out for the clash

Maritzburg United will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they travel to the Princess Magogo Stadium to take on Golden Arrows on Saturday afternoon.

The Team of Choice have been in impressive form under the guidance of returning coach Fadlu Davids, having recorded back-to-back wins over Marumo Gallants and Royal AM. The wins have seen Maritzburg climb out of the relegation zone and they will be hoping to extend their good form with a third consecutive win.

Meanwhile, Golden Arrows will be desperate to bounce back from a 3-1 defeat to Orlando Pirates last Saturday, which was their second loss in three matches. Abafana Bes’thende are lying 12th on the table with 19 points, two points off the top eight.

Arrows have won the last three league clashes between the sides, including a 2-0 win in the first round in October last year. However, Maritzburg will be confident of getting a positive result this time around as they look to continue their revival in the DStv Premiership.
