Who Are Kwiff?

Kwiff arrived in 2015 and made a deliberate move to offer a product unlike any other in the industry. They’re relatively new – definitely compared to some of the legacy brands – but their odds being “Kwiffed” (their version of super boosting) means that players regularly get huge odds that they wouldn’t find elsewhere.

First Impression of Kwiff

This review will reflect the service offered at the specific point in time. I signed up on the desktop version of Kwiff, but also used the mobile version to compare, as well as the Kwiff app.

At OLBG we collect data on every bookmaker’s service, compiling the best bookies in a variety of categories, so that we can determine which bookmaker is the best at what. Based on this data, Kwiff makes our Top 10 in two different categories, with both focusing on promotional aspects of betting: acca insurance and free bet clubs (or similar).

Kwiff Live Betting

There’s a solid offering from Kwiff when it comes to live, in-play betting. At the time of writing there was football, tennis, cricket, basketball, plus some table tennis and volleyball. and a few other sports covered. Covering the entire globe (the Big Bash, and a Test series in India, in cricket for example), there is a good range within each sport. All live betting is found easily through the “In Play” tab on their main menu. There is a really good amount of in-play stats, timelines and commentary.

Kwiff Live Streaming

Kwiff offers no live streaming as part of their service at the time of this review.

Kwiff Betting Odds

You can see from our data how Kwiff compares when it comes to odds. In most cases, where Kwiff scores, odds play a big part in why it does so. Kwiff’s standard odds are good, but not market-leading, however, when Kwiff boosts its odds, or “Kwiffs” them, then they suddenly become among the very best that you can possibly good.

Kwiffed

Kwiff bettors will always have the chance that their bet gets Kwiffed. This is done on a random basis, and punters won’t know until after the bet has been placed, but if it is, the odds will be supercharged and offer a much bigger payout. This isn’t a boost from 2/1 to 3/1 or the like, sometimes those odds will be Kwiffed ten-fold, so instantly become 20/1. Some are at smaller increases (my first Kwiff was 4.06 up to 5.04), but there have been cases in which they’ve been increased by 20 times. It can be an absolute game-changer.

Kwiff Betting App or Mobile Site

The Kwiff mobile app is very good. When you open the Kwiff app for Android or IOS or on your tablet you can quickly see there is a lot going on, the screen is awash with the latest free bets, promotions, favourites and a quick bet slip.

This definitely works better on the app than on desktop, which sorts all the information in a cleaner way – the home screen works well, and feels like a place you would enjoy.

Kwiff Football Betting

Kwiff’s football section is good. Their odds are okay, but there’s some nice promotions (as we’ve mentioned) to throw in, although the number of markets could be more. As you’d expect, the major leagues around the world are all covered, with English competitions going down to National League North and South, and domestic leagues in Greece, Iran, Australia and plenty more.

Bet Builder

Kwiff offers no bet builder as part of their service at the time of this review.

Bonuses

We’ve already mentioned odds being Kwiffed. It’s worth saying again: our odds can randomly be boosted to up to 20 times what they are when you place the bet. That’s an insanely good promotion. In addition to that, the same thing can happen to your cash out, with supercharged cash outs offered. Again, this isn’t for all bets, but all bets do have the possibility to have supercharged cash out.

Kwiff also do a Surprise Bet promotion. Punters will find a pre-made bet, on any sport, land in their ‘Cash Out’ or ‘My Bets’ section, giving bettors the chance to win a bet without staking a penny. They also use these Surprise Bets in other promotions.

Free Bet Club

Kwiff’s approach to free bet clubs focuses around football, just as it does with its welcome offer. When you sign up to Kwiff and bet £25 (across any sport) you’ll be rewarded with a free £5 bet to place on football. But once you’re signed up and a regular user, you can get a free £10 football bet if you wager £50 or more, or a free £20 football bet if that’s £100 or more.

Promotions and Loyalty Club

Kwiff’s Sports Club gives you up to a £20 surprise bet every week for betting on multiples of three selections or more!

Acca Insurance

Kwiff offers an acca insurance product known as ‘Acca Shield’, it is ostensibly the same premise as other offers although rather than a free bet award for qualifying accas, a ‘surprise bet’ is on offer which differentiates it from other betting sites.

Kwiff Horse Racing

Kwiff does pretty well when it comes to horse racing betting, although it doesn’t offer Best Odds Guaranteed, which is a bit annoying. The odds are generally good, with a few promotions that are worth talking about. There is First Past the Post (so if your horse passes the finishing post first, but isn’t awarded the win for whatever reason, your bet will still be paid out), as well as refunds to any bets that finish second to the favourite with your stake being returned as a Surprise Bet.

Kwiff US Sports Betting

A full range of American Sports is available. At the time of writing, only the MLB season isn’t up and running, with the other major leagues in full swing. Beyond that there are lots of international markets for these sports.

American Football Betting

The odds at Kwiff are fine, and its good to see moneyline and the spread displayed, but it would be better if the total was included on the American football page for game lines, also. For some of the games, the spread was different to other bookies which is great, or not, depending on which way you are leaning to bet. With that in mind it’s definitely worth checking Kwiff out when making American football bets but you could find spreads more to your liking.

Basketball Betting

Kwiff is a solid option for basketball betting, to see in more detail why they top our list. Obviously there is the NBA, but also NCAA games, and leagues across the globe including France, Italy, Lithuania and China.

Baseball Betting

This is a bit limited, but there’s no MLB or NCAA season currently, so no game markets anyway. There are outrights for World Series winners, plus American League and National League, also. That said, it would be nice is there was a little sprinkling of player futures – MVP, Cy Young award etc.

Ice Hockey Betting

Like the basketball offering, as well as the biggest league in the sport, the NHL, there are a huge number of other leagues around the globe. You can bet on games in the Czech Republic, France, Norway and more. There are good outright future markets for NHL betting, and the markets within games are loaded.

Kwiff Greyhound Betting

Kwiff doesn’t offer Best Odds Guaranteed on greyhounds, but they do have the same offer for dogs that they do for horses, that being the 2nd to Favourite. If you back a dog and it finishes second to the starting favourite in the race ,you will receive your stake back as a Surprise Bet.

Kwiff Darts Betting

You can get some good value on darts markets at Kwiff, although it’s not one of the best darts betting sites in the country. There are a few events listed, but the number of markets isn’t huge. For some big games upcoming, there are match winner odds, as well as total 180s, and total 180s per player. There isn’t any set scoring, handicap betting or markets on highest checkout and the like.

Kwiff Snooker Betting

Select any random snooker match on Kwiff and you’ll find around five markets per match. Kwiff also offers a good option when it comes to in-play betting on particular snooker events, so bear them in mind if you’re a big fan of in-play betting in general.

Kwiff Rugby Betting (Union & League)

Kwiff offers a consistent rugby offering across the board. There are markets for the English Premiership and Top 14, but no URC. Likewise there are markets on the Six Nations, but not Super Rugby, and the Champions Cup, but the Challenge Cup. So while it covers some, it feels like it’s missing others. And this is just for rugby union, there’s zero rugby league here to bet on.

Kwiff Cricket Betting

In terms of best cricket betting sites, this is pretty solid. There’s some in-play markets to bet on, and it looks well covered in terms of events. Beyond that the competitions covered are the Big Bash, Super Smash and BIM 10, with ODIs, T20 matches and upcoming Test series. I’d like to see some more markets within each, but this is a fairly solid offering all round.

Kwiff Tennis Betting

Kwiff has a decent event coverage for the tennis season. Obviously there are the Grand Slams, but also every tournament on the ATP and WTA tours, as well as Davis Cup, Fed Cup and Challenger Series, as well as even smaller tournaments. And, although it probably doesn’t need saying, this applies to in-play betting, as well as pre-match stuff. Generally the odds here are really good, and definitely a consideration when placing tennis bets.

Kwiff Golf Betting

All the four Majors are here, with outright odds on the winner markets for each. On top of that there is some smaller upcoming tournaments, and to be honest you can’t ask for a huge amount more.  It would be good, despite how far away they are, to see some Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup odds, because it would only require a little effort, but it’s still a pretty good option none the less.

Kwiff Motorsports Betting

The only motor sports that Kwiff has markets for is Formula 1. There’s no season at the moment, but it still has odds on the Drivers Championship and Constructers Championship. These will be added to with specific race markets closer to the time, but there’s nothing in the way of Speedway, NASCAR, Formula E, Dakar Rally or any motorbike competitions like MotoGP or Super Bikes.

Kwiff Boxing Betting

I quite like the approach to boxing betting that Kwiff applies. They know there’s not a lot of value in the “fight winner” market for most bouts and so put a lot of focus and value into other markets. This means thinking of Round Betting, Winning Method, Go The Distance and the like.

Kwiff Other Sports Betting

Whilst these sports might sound very niche, there is a massive market for fans, and millions of them in the UK, so good coverage of niche sports and events is key to be reviewed on OLBG; let’s dig in.

Esports Betting

Kwiff offers some esports betting, but only on e-leagues for football and basketball. There isn’t any other esports, not even the huge games, such as League of Legends, Call of Duty, DOTA or Valorant.

Handball Betting

Kwiff offers no handball betting at the time of this review.

Cycling Betting

Kwiff offers no cycling betting at the time of this review.

Aussie Rules Football Betting

Kwiff offers no Aussie Rules betting at the time of this review.

Political Betting

Kwiff offers no politics betting at the time of this review.

Entertainment and Specials Betting

Kwiff offers no entertainment betting at the time of this review.

Virtual Sports Betting

Kwiff offers no virtual sports betting at the time of this review.

Casino

Kwiff has a fantastic casino with all players from small to large stakers given the best experience possible on the platform.

A huge range of slots and interactive promotions are on Kwiff Casino to keep the most demanding of players happy and consistently able to use the services available.

Kwiff Account Opening Process

Couldn’t be easier and can be completed swiftly and succinctly.

  1. Click a sign up offer on this page
  2. Enter a username and password
  3. Add your personal information; date of birth, address etc.
  4. Make your first deposit.
  5. Add your payment details

That’s it. You’re ready to bet with Kwiff.

Navigation and user experience [desktop v mobile]

The more I used Kwiff, and bet with them, the more I used their app. The site is good, but I didn’t love the navigation on either. Kwiff doesn’t have a huge range of sports, and all are found by scrolling the top main menu, but it does make you wonder if you’re missing something, because most sportsbooks have a “Sports A-Z” (or similar) tab that lists everything.

That aside, moving around the site and placing bets is very easy. And on top of that, access account information is exactly as you’d expect, also.

Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to Kwiff I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which was very indeed. Placing a bet on Kwiff is straightforward with the betslip instantly appearing on your screen when you click a selection.

Managing your account

As mentioned above, this is pretty good, without being incredible. On the desktop version, it’s stuff left and right of screen (menu and search to the left, account and bets to the right). On the app, it’s at the bottom, with search, account and bets at the top, with a main nav bar at the bottom that can get you to different sports, in-play options and casino (plus return to the home page).

Kwiff Responsible Gambling Features

As with all online betting companies, responsible gambling should be and will be an essential element of the service provided.

Expect KYC procedures and document supply as a matter-of-course, to confirm your account after you have deposited a certain level of funds and in the event of any large wins.

You can set limits for yourself across depositing options and daily staking options too, so you can set your levels and keep control of your gambling.

Expect Kwiff to contact you via your preferred communication method if there are suspicious activities on your account. This protects your account from being accessed by someone other than you and ensures you control your gambling activity. Kwiff have a legal obligation to question your activity if they believe it to be suspicious.

As part of Kwiff’s commitment to safer gambling, they aim to make zero revenue from harmful gambling by the end of 2023.

Kwiff Review Summary

Overall, Kwiff is absolutely somewhere that you should consider having an account. There are issues, that’s not up for debate, because lots of sports aren’t covered, so if one of those is what you like to bet on, then there literally may be nothing for you at Kwiff. There is also a lack of promotions in certain sports – football, racing and a few others are covered well – but others are ignored, and no Best Odds Guaranteed is an obvious miss.

That said, not having a Kwiff account would give me serious FOMO. I guess that’s part of Kwiff’s strategy, that punters will keep betting in the hope that those bets get Kwiffed, because that, alongside with the Surprise Bets, are both exceptional promotions to have as part of their product.

Backing a heavy, odds-on favourite to win a football match, and then suddenly having those odds boosted to 5, 10, maybe even 20/1 is something that no other bookie does. My first bet was Kwiffed, and was immediately followed by a Surprise Bet at odds of 3.30, with a hefty payout as a result. It’s difficult to stand out in such a saturated market, and Kwiff have done that, while adding their brand name to betting parlance. It’s quite the achievement.
